About Advanced Remediation Solutions

Advanced Remediation Solutions specializes in hazardous materials removal, including but not limited to mold, asbestos, lead, mercury, PCBs, and animal feces. We work in residential, commercial and industrial settings. In the course of our work we use HEPA filtered air movers, HEPA filtered vacuums, HEPA filtered sanding unit for removing ceiling texture, and a dry ice blaster for the clean up of mold and smoke damage.

We have grown steadily since 2004, going from three part-time employees to twenty full-time employees. We have three project managers, three onsite supervisors, and nine field workers all with multiple years of experience and training. Our office staff consists of an operations manager, safety coordinator, bookkeeper, project managers assistant and a part-time purchasing/shop person. We also work with several temp agencies providing additional labor as needed.

Our office and shop are located in Edmonton. However, we work on projects in Central and Northern Alberta, Yukon, NWT, Saskatchewan and British Columbia.

Due to the nature of our business - hazardous materials removal - safety and meeting and exceeding legislative requirements are a big part of every project. We take great pride in following safety norms and making residential, commercial and industrial areas a safer place with our solutions.

Apart from safety, we’re big fans of preservation of the environment. We have a comprehensive ‘office and shop recycling program’ which includes ink cartridges, batteries, cardboard, paper, plastics, glass, metal, and chemicals. In addition, the nature of our business requires the safe disposal of many types of hazardous materials at designated disposal sites or through specific disposal companies.

As part of our community service, we purchased a Chinese Lion named Liu Bei in 2017, to be used for fundraising and community lion dance performances by Silent River Kung Fu in Stony Plain, AB. We have also provided supplies and helped with the setup and transportation for a number of fundraising events held by the Silent River Kung Fu Benevolent Foundation.

We have also assisted the following charities that are in the Edmonton Area, Strathcona Womens Shelter ($1000), The Salvation Army ($200), The Mustard Seed (150 Christmas dinners) and The Hope Mission (300 Christmas dinners).
