Meet The Face Behind Advanced Remediation Solutions

I’m Dean Beckett, proud owner of Advanced Remediation Solutions Inc.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

While I was working in the restoration business, I witnessed a need for a business that was focused on mold removal/remediation. Seeing this as an opportunity to make better use of my abilities, I took the IICRC courses necessary to get my Applied Microbial Remediation certification and started my business in 2004.

In the beginning, we offered only mold remediation. However, over time we kept running into asbestos contained within building materials. Therefore, we expanded to include asbestos removal into our portfolio. As time progressed we have branched into all types of hazardous material removal.

As founder and owner of the business, I initially did everything myself, right from operations, project management, field work, purchasing, scheduling, safety, the works. Now, I mentor my team of project managers, review completed projects, participate in operations and take care of multiple miscellaneous management functions.

I thoroughly enjoy project management. I also like speaking with customers and clients and helping them with their hazmat issues.

On a usual day, I oversee equipment maintenance, troubleshoot difficult project issues, work with project managers regarding estimating and project management. I also run a few projects of my own when the team gets overrun. Then there are the operations meetings regarding, insurance, bonding, marketing, charities, safety, signing documents and so on. It never seems to end! While it all seems like a lot of work, my organization skills, problem-solving abilities and leadership qualities, help me keep it all together to provide first class service to all our clients.

When I am not at work, my wife and I enjoy ballroom dancing and like to go out dancing as often as possible. I love woodworking and cabinet making and have a garage full of tools that I play with. As an individual, I believe what sets me apart is my honesty, integrity, confidence, professionalism, passion, and accountability.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
